Found in the oil screen

    Good morning,

    I was changing the oil this week and dropped the oil screen to clean it and found the bits in the photo. Kombi oil screen.jpg

    They appear to be plastic and look like they are part of a ring of some sort. They are about 2 mm thick - WTF!!!!

    The motor is a type 4, 2.1L, reconditioned about 20k ago, running beautifully.

    Can anybody hazard a guess what they are from and whether I should be worried - I am btw

    Had same in type 3 oil screen. Still running.
