Fuel tank capacity 74 Microbus

    My fuel indicator is not working properly. Can anyone tell me the size of my fuel tank please. I drive a 74 Microbus. Cheers

    Hey Mike- how much does a splitty tank hold?
    I have guessed from fillups it is 35-40ltrs.

    Certainly do. I may have to do the bay tank swap at some stage.

    Ther emust be something wrong my fuel tank - from run out of fuel to full only about 45Litres (thats in a late Bay!)

    No, 60 litres, went and double checked the Bentley,15.8 US gallons, 13.2 imperial gallons or as I said 60 Litres

    Saabman, your tank may have collapsed on its self slightly, this happened to a mates bus once and he could only get about 10 Litres in

    when I had the engine out laat year I was going to pull the tank out as well - forgot all about it :rolleyes: till after the engine went back in!
