Hi, Does anyone know if there is a requirement to install fireproofing between the engine and the fuel tank, most likely on the removal panel installed between the two?
If so, what would be recommended?

    None required.
Early transporters didn't even have a firewall.

Essential to check fuel lines and breather lines regularly tho.
And ensure spigots into carbs are secure.
    Epoxy is a good idea.
I prefer to clamp all hoses with efi type clamps. Plus use correct size efi fuel hose.
If running an electric fuel pump then also fit tachometric relay and solenoid activated fuel shutoff tap.

    Check fuel delivery pressures.

A blazecut fire suppression system a good idea.

    Investigate all fuel smells.
