G.c.dub Club 2008

    couldnt make the zoo xmas party :mad: ..so decided to trundle off down the road with BOB and the kids...:eek: .....one very looooong hoooot day...no bloody shade and out numbered 4 to 1 by bloody dubs..buggies and even a mg who thought he was a vw:umm: ...
    10 prizes for peoples choice and 4 from the sponsor.....only 1 prize to a kombi:umm: ..a hand painted splitty ..lol...still won 5 prizes in the raffle....
    they said they were down about 20 entries and might change venue next year

    Thanks for the photos, there is another post with photos of this event as well.The numbers would have been down due to the date falling when we were all away. Quite a few of us would have been there if it was another weekend.

    Badly advertised this year which would have contributed to poor turnup.

    Didn't seem to check to make sure there wasn't another event on.

    Was going to go but the way the gateway is at present sitting for an hour in traffic to get through the tolls ain't my idea of fun.

    It was A poor turnout,but A show is A show and it was nice to see the cars and vans that did show up.

  8. I think it's a great venue. no dust,dirt etc etc. Cars stay cleaner. But maybe in cooler months would be better.
