Gold Coast Dub Club Show - Sunday 11th November

    Oh sorry Michelle..I should have looked closer. Hopefully someone will know. I can't understand why they wouldn't have used "better" window winders though...

    Thats ok Melissa I should have taken a photo of the whole car that would have helped. I didn't even notice the window winders I was to busy talking to the owner and drooling over his seats. The guy also did the roof lining and all the carpet and lined all the boot it was very impressive.

    It is very nice. The bases of the seats look exactly like my Type 3, but mine are highbacks and the dash is very similar..I really like the extra trimming at the tops of the doorcards...but the pockets are in a different spot.

    Yeah she is a notchback, Alan (Dasdubber) did the resoration and paintwork on it.

    In seeking a VW/life balance the bald one was attending to other business...

    My son's Birthday party (Harry was eight on Thursday) at the pool this morning, I managed to conquer the soapy inflatable...3 times no less.

    It was also my wifes birthday...friends over for tandoori...

    pics are good...shame about the biccies...

    Just realised that we left a Grey mat that we put outside the Kombi door at Riviera yesterday. If anyone picked it up by any chance it is ours.

    speaking of things left behind, did anybody pick up a chair left at kangaroo point, im sure i got it but i seemed to be down one when i went to go to the coast sunday, its an aluminium tube frame, dark blue canvas and a side table, nice chair actually.

    Chopper you are a movie star they just had the VW show on channel nine news.You were on there walking past the yellow splittie, plus they showed lots of other bus's

    I'm still in shock... what a way to cap off a long day of waiting and all that raffling! LOL
    I just cant believe i won a trophy, its crazy. The bling must have stunned the judges... mmmm Bling! You know i cant get enough of it Bert!
    What made it so much better was that Bob got the runner up trophy.

    Yes, know what you mean.

    We missed the Kombi Kram because No.1 Son had to get to a Birthday party for his best friend.

    Not sure they could have fitted me in anyway (185cm & 100kgs!!!)
