Grandpa's 69 camper with my 18 year old hottie of an Aunty today is one year since the Brigadier died, i was at mum and dads place for sunday lunch and while my family were talking and the kids playing, I when through a box of Grandpa's stuff and came up with a little of KC gold. he was a great man and an even greater grandfather, enjoy when woz gets the photos up.
haha yes she is also smoking in the picutres, didn't realise that... sorry mate, i think thats the bbest i can do with the pics, they are only able to be copied as 1 picutre (which includes all of the 4 small ones)
if my aunty saw these, she would want me to say she never smoked and that she was just pretending to be Gran.
in 1969, the year my folks meet, dads olds went to europe for a traveling holiday. They ordered this 1969 low light from the factory to be picked up at the factory in Germany and then drove it around europe for 6 months before shipping it to south africa and selling it to pay for the whole trip.
thats alright right mate, she is a hottie. she does have a younger, 28year, looking just like her running around in 2010 just wish Woz or Harry would fix the photos
i did and i do not see why some IT person can not fix how big the files can be, as lots of people seem to find it hard to get pics up. who should we be asking?
As far as I am aware Steve, the attachment size limits are imposed by the storage capacity of the site host. But I am always happy to help members upload &/or resize (however I was visiting my mother today, so wasn't online) ... but thanks Harry for posting them up. I think the proportions look wrong though, so I'll try to fix that tomorrow.
thanks to both of you for your time and help. i was a good boy too today and went to see my mummy too
My '71 Westfalia has exactly those same curtains. Most are faded however... But some are in original condition so I think the colours are pretty accurate comparing with my good curtains. I just wish I could find some replica material. This van looks like it has the Stockholm interior. I had some help in that I don't use Photobucket so am not hampered by their size restrictions. Here are the other photos...
That's cool, the photos look just like an advertising brochure - no wonder if it was a for sale photo shoot Pity the story didn't end with the kombi being still in your garage in this condition
Just re-read some of these posts. Apologies to Woz for jumping the gun on fixing the proportions. cheers Greg
