Hall Sender part number

    Anyone know the genuine VW part number for the Hall sender on a 2.1 MV motor, thanks.

    That looks like a VW part number.

    It looks like the correct part number for MV engines.

    Not sure as van randomly cuts out when cold, but spotted a genuine VW sender on TheSamba but it lists a part number different to above & seems to be for a Jetta

    Jetta, Golf and Corrado with Digifant use the same hall sensor.

    Try swapping your distributors between your good van and the parts van. At least that will eliminate the possibility of it being another issue.

    I bought one from Repco last week for $100 HAL-023M manufactured by MVP. On the bosh box from last time 030 905 065 and on the original Hall it says 1 230329 049.

    Yes T4 ones fit and work fine in a T3.

    I have had mine in for a few years now and no issues.

    Yes, I've had one fitted for 2 years and 15000km and not had any problems with it. I got it from JK when my Hall Sensor went and I couldn't get the original distributor apart.

    And it is a drop in unit,complete swap for the whole distributor.
