My name is Greg and I'm a major VW tragic !
I love driving and working on kombis and always have several VW projects on the go.
We managed to finish two projects last year (a friends 57 splitty and my daughters 69 bay). I also have a 69 dual cab that is halfway through its major rust removal..............its going to take a while.
I am also on other online forums but I find this one the friendliest.
Now..............to work out how to post photos.

Haha yes Grantus, the good part about the spaghetti wiring is that I have learnt A LOT about electrics and wiring

I was hesitant to Greg, then bit the bullet and found it easy as so thought put the instructions up - yeah photobucket has changed how things work but the idea is there and don't be afraid and read too much into what you have to do.

Only a "..major.." VW tragic, Greg.
With 2 completed projects last year ...... And now starting the third which appears to be characterised by a wiring loom that has unravelled like a proverbial brides' nightie...... If you had joined this collection of similarly deranged souls earlier ,you would be at least a three star general by now .
Looking forward to hearing of your future travails .
    Welcome to K.C.
    JD in Adelaide

Here is my mates 57 that we completed. Laurie did all the rust repairs ( bottom 10 inches of the whole car). I just made it look pretty.
