Has anyone had trouble dealing with https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/au/ ?

Here is a message that I have just received from them.

    Dear Mr Lander

Thank you for your recent order.

For us to get it safely delivered to you, I need to get the building and street name for the PO Box please.

If I do not have this, the courier is likely to refuse delivery.
    Kind Regards

    Suzy Adeosun

I have never had an issue with delivery but its always been to either home or my work address. I will say that they have been very quick deliveries.

I have just checked a 2016 receipt and they sent it to my PO Box then. I think that Suzy is a halfwit.

I suspect it is because Suzy is in the UK and their delivery/mail system could be different - maybe their PO boxes are not only at post offices like they are here.

I worry that the more they put on the address the more chance of it going astray. Home and work delivery is not an option for me.

I ended up using "Parcel Collect" for everything now. Too much stuff gone missing over the years. Items are addressed to the post office street address and the parcel waits there for collection.

Still no reply. I wonder if they have new management and they now may be a PITA to deal with.

Maybe they checked your account and seen where the last delivery was sent to.

........and she was too embarrassed to admit she was wrong.

This company has had a lot of bad feedback over the last few months. I wonder if the new website came with new management?

Only Australia Post will deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers. If they are sending via a courier you will need to provide a business or residential address for delivery and signature. Usually they send overseas parcels via DHL.

This is why they asked for the LPO's address. We do this occasionally for rural deliveries, places without mail services or delivery service, it just gets delivered to the LPO.

.... and there is absolutely no reason to call someone a halfwit for just doing their job...

I agree 100% . I would like a $ for every time Phil has called someone a halfwit and from my observation most times it wasnt warranted.

    I really do not understand?

PO and town???? Why would they need anything else? They either send to a PO box or not. Just let me know as I don't really have an option.

When I was in Sydney I could deal with JK. Now that I have PO Box I know that I cannot. But at least I know where I stand.

I have had deliveries from them before without problems. I wont be dealing with them again.

If they don't deliver to a PO box I can't deal with them anyway.

Not all purchases fit in a P.O box so that may limit things for you syncro.
    Look for the alternatives;).

I can have anything sent to my PO box that AP will send to your house. It doesn't actually have to fit in the PO box. I get deliveries every week that are large.
