Last night there was an event at Nielsen Park, Vaucluse (which is on the eastern suburbs of Sydney, right on the harbour).

The host had about 350 guests, and they had buses taking guests back to their hotels/houses. They wanted 10 Kombis to ferry VIP guests to various places later on in the evening.

The event organisers secured 2 Kombis and we managed to organise 8 (from KC) - although 1 broke down on the N1 and never made it. Otherwise a fun outing with not much to do for us drivers.

Thanks to the guys who made it :)

Myself, Geoff, Rod, Paul, Greg, Lachlan, Dean, Chucks' Kombi

We were parked under some huge fig trees, and the bats were crapping all over the immaculate Kombis - ha ha

We only got there around 8.30, so would have had to use flash to take pics - I didn't think photos would work.

Yeh - my brother was at this and aparently they paid you blokes $500.00 per kombi (if you made it) - so for 10 kombis that would have been $5K.

They obviously have some cash splashing around.

Well - when they charge the prices they ask for their handbags, they could afford it - I think they start at $2500 each

    ;)

Each handbag should come with a set of sliding windows for a Kombi or something equivalent

I cant beleive Hermes has so much money - I thought they were a removalist company or a sexually transmitted disease not a upmarket clothing and handbag maker.

Possibly a change of name is in order.

This probably shows my significant lack of class!
