Have been reading the forum now for a few months, and i have finally purchased a 75 camper, (which needs a bit of work). But looking forward to doing it up. This is my second camper, but had to sell it over 10 years ago as my hubby didn't want the kids to learn to drive in it.
Have also had a 69 beetle which my daughter used as her first car.
So I have finally been able to buy another, and am very excited and happy to be a kombi owner once again.

Is great to find such a great site and what a great bunch you all are.
I have read so many of your resto stories and look forward to joining in.

Welcome to the KC. We too brought a 75 kombi (a camper) to do up and take around Australia. Good luck with the restro - you'll find lots of help and helpful people here.

Hi Jedda, I've got a 69 beetle too. They're a great unit. Where abouts are you located? You should also chuck up some pics of your camper too.

Welcome aboard, Jedda. As some of the others have said, look forward to meeting you at one of the upcoming gatherings.

I had a day to myself on Friday, so a couple of friends and I brought Daisy down for a trek your way. Was good fun! Catch you 'round the place.

    Julian.

Lorraine, I was going to say the same thing till I scrolled down and well there you go. It's so true. At the moment it looks like just a load of old metal and big bills, but believe me, she'll love it from that first ride when you get your first kombi wave. There's nothing like a kombi.

Welcome Jedda, hope you enjoy the club as much as we do.

    Ruth
