Home Interior Design Challenge with a Kombi A Jeremy Clarkson style Top Gear Challenge..... Just a thought but inspired by Vanders' Special Project what could you utilise a kombi for, around the House. How would show off your creative Interior Design Skills to add to the decor of your home? The rules are You can use any part of a kombi to come up with your " Retro VW Kombi Style" REMEMBER : This is a Concept Challenge . Kombi Fish Tank perhaps... Something we would like to do is to have part of a shell and use that as a facade for a Fish Tank. The options could be endless eg Use the Front or Rear Panels and they would house a 4ft tank nicely in the space where the front windscreen or rear window is. Larger tanks could be used in the window section of the side panel. Have not seen one yet so maybe it might have to be a Brewmaster Design. Cheers Brett
why bother witha house why not just have a nest of kombis on a block of land - 1 for each bedroom 1 ktchen dining 1 bathroom
We've seen BBQ's made from Beetles so why not have something with a kombi theme TV Cabinet Fish Tank Stereo ........the list is endless coffee table with the engine Where is the imagination of the KC? Think of it as a Top Gear Challenge being issued by Jeremy Clarkson......
I guess you could have like a sliding door and the area behind it as a wardrobe, maybe even a walk in one. Or you could like cut one in half horizontally and use it as a bed base, with the the face at the foot of the bed. You could even rig up the lights as like night lights or lamps. Although, I could never really justify cutting up one for furniture
That time out room is awesome, you'd get kids playing up just so they could get shut up in the kombi!! I reckon you could make an awesome backyard party bus....kinda like they do with beetles though as well as a fridge and a bbq you could fit in an awesome set of speakers, a juke box, rig the headlights up as strobes, the windscreen'd hold a plasma...
