    Hi Alex,

How's the EI going? Still starting first time, every time?

I'm considering getting mine done now that she's been converted to gas, but her carbies are out of synch. Would this make a difference?

    Thanks,
    Kyra

Sent you a PM a good mechanic should be able to sync the carbs or are they getting pretty old and in need of a rebuild?

The EI has to improve the ignition performance I reckon.

    Cheers Alex

I took this from the instalation instructions for this unit.

"The advance curve is determined by the advance weights in the 009. If the advance curve is incorrect the advance mechanism in the distributor may be faulty OR the rotor may be dragging against the CFCM"
