Recently on a painting trip camping around Tasmania, a strange grinding noise arose in Dot, my 1974 Bay. As soon as we got off the boat at Devonport, we stopped in at 'Tyre Solutions' who investigated incase it was a wheel bearing. It wasn't and they suggested it was the speedo cable. And they didn't charge! Highly recommend them! Further along, we stopped at Blunt's Garage, European Car Specialist in St. Helens. Todd was so thoughtful, took his time and also diagnosed the speedo cable. Charged a tiny amount ($49) for a lot of time investigating and also adjusted the locking nut on the wheel as it was too tight. Highly recommend!

Good to know there are still some people out there willing to help. Great story and thanks for giving them a mention as word of mouth goes a long way.
