    I have always liked Beru.

I used the 3 prong spark plugs in my 1916

Bosch is good but not what it use to be.
Everything made to the lowest acceptable level these days

Beru haven't been easily available locally other wise I would have tried them. Echlin is the other brand I have come across from time to time.

I have to be honest, I fought buying a Petronix unit for years as they aren't cheap and the a failure means throw away, but after the quality issues with Bosch points with them wearing so badly after 2000 km, both rubbing blocks and points, I took the plunge and haven't looked back. Carrying a spare Petronix isn't cost effective, but you can do a swap to points on the side of the road, or carry a spare dizzy set up with points and swap it out.
