so this will probably be the first of a few posts to come if i cant find enough information to help me out but i've decided to get the kombi back on the road and need to solve a few small issues before getting a roadworthy.

Anyway... the left indicator is working and flashing perfectly. The right one flashes if you hold the stalk halfway up but its doesn't come on at all when fully clicked up.

i have removed the stalk from the housing but cant see inside the box to figure out how it works.

    Should I assume you have a 1974?

I think that was a change over year?
Early has the hard to find 1973 style?

Paddle lever or other? May not be lever. Might be earth at blinker level. Check those arse end (earth contacts) near the rear units (inside engine bay near the tail light inner bit) & the front earths if that doesn't work.;)
    Cheers
