I have had hot and cold results from Gowesty so no need to worry just yet. Have waited 3 weeks before and then as little as 7 days so you never know.
Thanks Phil, Puts my mind at ease a little, awaiting a new horn contact ring and indicator switch among some other bits. Would hate for it all to dissapear Greg
Here is a great T3 and VW in general parts supplier www.rockauto.com lots of parts ar way cheaper than some of the other established US sites like Gowesty and Van-cafe so give them a go. They ship to Australia too.
I like these guys www.van-cafe.com allways good service and low freight cost to Australia and you get a free cookie! For a long time I searched Google for T3 T25 or Transporter until I made the life changing discovery that my vehicle is known as Vanagon outside Australia, searched Google for Vanagon and the results came rolling in I think a lot of us Aussies are unaware of this and in oz http://www.justkampers.com.au/ are ok too
If you guys want anything shipping over please let me know and I will do my best to help you out. CampervanCulture.com is posting more and more to Australia these days so it really is no drama to send stuff or accommodate any spacial requests. We hold accounts with pretty much everywhere all the other companies buy their stock from anyway and can do group buys as well as single purchases. Let me know, my direct email is jed@campervanculture.com.
This is a great site for hard to get parts and panels http://vw-t3-bus-shop.de/en/reparaturbleche-seite
Anyone use Van-Again? https://www.vanagain.com/ or https://vanagain.glopal.com/en-AU/ Have some interesting stuff - spring loaded push rod tubes, headlight protectors, big brake kits
More than happy to buy local. Just that with so much not available here, the thread was started for vital parts to keep the T3’s running......
Agree it's hard to find quality at good price. We will grow t3oa webshop be sure to check in from time to time. But I will also let you know on here when we add products
