For those thinking of fitting an IRS to their splitty here is a pic of the parts needed to fit a Creative Engineering set-up

The spring plates must be 68 ones as they have a certain amount of splines so they fit on the torsion bars already fitted to the split.
I have heard of people welding later model ones by cutting them half way along and welding the splined area to the bay ones.
I cant see how this works unless they have them tempered afterwards as the steel is spring steel and if you add heat from welding it alters the steel??
So just use the proper ones or get the adjustable ones , I think Creative and other US companies sell these
The A arms should also be 68 ones , again I have seen others cut down and welded, unless you have a really good jig set up, its a bit hit and miss.

The rear hubs can be any cv jointed bay set, 71-71 onwards if you want small 5 and 68-71 if you want large 5.

And here is what the Creative chassis legs look like when fitted.

I thought it would be easier than trying to describe them over the phone.
