Once upon a time they used to be the well trained elite mechanics. Then the accountants stepped in.

 

Oh dear - I don't want an accountant looking at my vehicle!

 

It blows my mind as to the amount basic problems result in a tow truck ride!

 

Yes there is a vw mechanic in Rockhampton about 30mins away. He is awesome. He found the problem, it was a faulty ignition switch so she will be coming home tomorrow. Thanx everyone for your help, cheers guys

 

Everyone should carry a spare ignition switch.

 

Why? theyre much harder to fit in a bay. button is easier
