If I hear Hallelujah one more time I'll kill someone.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great song just played to death & so many badv versions have been done in the past few years.

I'm Disappointed on the lack of female artists - I put my votes in for Ani, Bjork and Lamb - I'd be interested to see the 100 - 200 just to see how many ladies were in that bracket.
That said - great way to spend a weekend listening to some truly great tunes..

to be honest to me the 100 wasn't that great, there wasn't even a black sabbath song in there lol. But i am disappointed Blondie isn't in there

I loved Tiny Dancer... Almost Famous helped boost it's popularity.

You have all raised valid points for sure...but something that was brought up at work today was the fact that ALOT of the people who listened to the J's when the older tunes were on, have now moved on to other forms of entertainment, be that commercial radio stations, or simply their own CD's rather than a particular radio station.

These songs are just a selection made by current JJJ listeners. It does not take away anything from some old classics that didn't make the list, it's just a sign that the people who like the older tunes are now a minority among JJJ listeners. :)
