    Call for Firewood -Hardwood

Putting the call out for evryone to bring a little hardwood up to Peregian for the Camping Weekend. If everybody chips in then we will have a nice fire or two in the drums without running out of fuel.

We saw an add for bunnings last night and it was for bags of fire wood. I think they were $12.95 a bag so we will try and grab some tomorrow.
Its going to be cold next week so we are going to need it.
    See you all Friday

I could ask the same of you, young man.

Methinks a simple camping weekend is getting very gourmet all of a sudden.... :) Is Alanna coming to whip (cook) yummy things for us? Or her boyfriend? He's a new Kombi owner so it would really be quite rude for him not to come and cook some delicacies for us! :D

Their stuff is a bit out of reach time wise but they do GREAT antipasto and the bakery is over the road for some nice crusty sticks..
That'll do for starters, then we get serious Ha Ha

    Extra couple for the weekend

    Hi Brett

I took the liberty of inviting some friends to join us with their winnebago. Wrong vehicle but right attitude. Their names are Christine & Warren.

They have already made a booking and should arrive late on Friday afternoon like us.

    Cheers

    Doug

Hate to throw a small problem in here, but I got my breadmaker out tonight and it's broken - must have broken when we moved here from Sydney 3 years ago. Botheration!! Was such a good idea!

Sorry Col, you'll need to make the bread by hand if you're really keen, or we could just walk across to the French Patiesserie and BUY some?! :)

    My sincerest apologies John

    My sincerest apologies John
First I did not type you in because there was an oversight in going over the two separate threads, then I made a simple typo. Are you a frustrated English Teacher? No vowels in JHB88 are there so what sort of word is that?

If I misspelt your wife's name then I apologise. All I remember is that it was a French spelling of Janine (is it Jeannine which is a common French version or is it a different spelling?) Once again sorry if it is still incorrectly spelt

No offence was intended. Just trying to rattle off a post for an event between classes and made a mistake. Sorry.

    Brett

PS How is the Lowlight coming along and when are we going to see the DC on the road?
