    Hi Michelle,

Shame we didnt get a chance to meet up, hovered around Wilder a bit on Sunday to see if you'd float by. Must be very proud of him, as we saw the resto pics, what a journey!!!....Maybe at the next meet we'll catch up....... Mrs Peel's currently at Guntas, getting new Heart!!, should have her back on the road Thursday...YAYY....We havent had our Bay for that long, but already we are thinking about getting another, just to do up!!...Think we've caught the bug!!.....

Can understand why everyone is so passionate about Kombis, after seeing the different layouts, colours, fittings, and quirks that all the Kombis had over the weekend.

Great Pics also Michelle, hope to join the gang at the next overnight shindig!!!..

looks good but the problem with the swampies is they were made for the American market and went on the passenger side.
Over here they will only fit on the drivers side and your right ear gets blown off??

That's why Pat has to get in from the passenger side ......... the price of looking good Dave!

Still it looks very very cool

Unfortunately I had to introduce my wife Toni to Pat and they immediately went off into RAT speak!

God only knows what Toni will come up with now for Vera the 72 Beetle ........ . gulp ........

or even Agnes the 59 Beetle

I feel Toni going off on a RAT/Hot Rod tangent.

    Help!!!!!

    Hi everyone
Just a few thankyous to many people at Klubfest for looking after me at the weekend. Unfortunately the Glen and Jacqui relationship has come to an abrupt end as I found out on my way to Klubfest. So as I arrived unprepared for camping I have to say a big thankyou to Doug and Dale for lending me their second Kombi as my bedroom. To Michelle for the warm blanket, and Jules for her sleeping bag and pillow and raisin toast plus the many fun times we had. To Lorraine and Andy for their constant support, Rose and Deb for the disco dances, did I mention bubbles! To Curtis for a constant source of humour and his Curtisy bus. Also to Dean for getting me back to Brisbane in time for my flight back to Newcastle.
It was also great to catch up with the rest of my Kombi family and enjoy everyones company once again. I will have my beloved Daisy with me now (whom I can always rely on) at Valla and Old Bar and hopefully finishing off her paintwork before then.
Great pictures everyone, until next time.
    Jacqui
