Has anyone actually installed and run the AA 96mm slip in big bore piston kits?
They push a 2L out to 2.1L without needing to split the case!
    Rod penrose sells them.

For sure the 1mm reduced wall thickness will not help in keeping it all straight at high temps but my old 1835 buggy engine didn't seem to care for many years!

    thanks farquire.
I want my motor to retain its stock look but still have some extra ponies? Could the solex carbies be tickled so they support a mild cam, bigger valved AMC heads with a mild port job and a capacity increase to 2050, oh and a stock exhaust system?

A buggy engine sits out in the air and has half a chance of keeping cool

a kombi engine struggles to get good air at the best of times

Ask Rod. From my dealings with him, he does not want to sell you a problem. He openly admits he will sell you as much as your willing to spend so long as you are getting value for money along the way.
