Great news Judy and Mick. I will add you now
just reading this post and to think i was having kittens this time last year !! keep up the good work people ! getting itchy feet i am
Long time reader, first time poster!
I'm really excited to hear there'll be an event in Canberra, but I live literally 10 minutes up the road from that caravan park! I'm just wondering, if there's no need to book unpowered sites, might there be a problem with them filling up before we all get there? Hope not, I want to be there!
Form a circle
Once the Kombi Convoy arrives at the unpowered camping area we will form a circle and keep the enemy out! Ha! The early birds will no doubt keep an area clear for others. The owners of the park assure me that there will be plenty of room for unpowered site kombi's and tents etc.
Just thought I'd let everyone know that Alice and I have booked the last powered site, but there are still two cabins left. No need to book for the unpowered sites.
See you all in Canberra!
Well done everybody! I was not 100% sure when I first started organising this that we would fill all of the spots but you have all amazed me!
Don't think that this means you can't come if you have not booked! With plenty of room as unpowered sites, everyone will all be included. There is a big camp kitchen that can be used as well. We have activities planned that take us away from the CVP during the days too so it's no big drama.
With 91 days to go, it will be upon us in no time
This will be the first trip for my bus since we bought her, and the first time that we've attended a club event (and I love going camping, but haven't for years...). But this event looked too exciting to miss, and I am really looking forward to it... This also gives me the excuse I needed to make sure my bus is in good nick before April....
I want to offer my congratulations to Melissa for a brilliant job in co-ordinating this event... WELL DONE!!!
HI Melissa, I'll be there. I booked a while ago so add me to the list.
Done. Come one Queenslanders...any more of you making the trip?
Haven't seen Roy's name on the line up list????????

Was wondering that myself Lorraine lol
He said he was going to book..he hasn't told me if he did yet..as soon as he does let me know, his name will be on the webpage.
Am trying to sort a few things out to try and get there but no formal commitments at this stage

Remind me not to tie the tarp to the kombi if I'm going to go driving off! Ha! Ha! I could just see me dragging half my campsite behind me....OOOPS!!!
