We made it safely to Forbes and just a couple of observations since our arrival.
One and an extremely important one, we are right beside the Lachlan river and it is flowing. Please those with children. know where they are at all times. We do not want to have any tragedies.
Also bring some warm clothes, the days are beautiful but nights and especially mornings are cold. Especially for us Qleenslanders

I have spoken to a few interstate truck drivers this morning and they are telling me that there are a lot of roo's on and crossing the highways. Be careful on the road to Forbes everyone. safe travels to all of you that are lucky enough to be going to the Bus Stop:)

Thanks for that, we defiantly saw lots of road kill on our way down from Qld, and unfortunately smelt it as well

That's not a problem, we have just been over to the track where the races are. There are really bad bindies so please bring shoes like runners with thick soles.

Anyone attending the camel cup, please bring shoes with thick soles like runners. Lots of burs that go through your shoes.

We drove in there today without a problem, it's just feet that need protecting.
