Thank you Greg. Gracie’s face lit up when I showed her your comment. :)
Then we both had a tear when we saw this.
It’s beautiful! Hits the heart though doesn’t it.

I hear Gracie saying, “Hi Paddy!” when a butterfly is around. Then I put my sunnies on so she can’t see my eyes. ;)

Great drawing by Gracie :D. Such a loss in Paddy for a family to 'sort thru'. Gracie got the rainbow correct;) & nice Gracie is processing what loss is about:( at such a young age. I miss the dogs of past & I'm working with the Kombi dog of the future;). Getting her to travel to other places than the vets! Helping her to know how to travel in a car:D. Bottlo a few times;) (just for socialisation purposes;)) Chrome fest in 2 weeks:) with her in a Kombi:p. A Kombi dog hopefully!
    Cheers

Yes...know the feeling....we were recently up in the Whitsundays catching up with a ffriend when a whale calf breached within 20’ of our yacht......Sue’s phone went “ding”.....a message from close friends in California had just lost their boxer, Juno.....after she told me TWO whale calves breached at the same time and disappeared.....I’m sure it was Kirra and Juno.......and we sobbed.....and still do.....

One of you to retire to take care of the new 'family'!
Do yourself a favour;). Get another fur child. They'll love you for that choice:D.

You know, years ago we solved that. Both working full time and living in suburban Sydney. Simple solution. Get two (or more if you like  - we left Sydney with 3)

Refitted the Old English Sheepdog seat belt for the new co pilot to go to Chromefest. Her first entry to the kombi. Did a lot of sniffing;)
Not sure if she's unimpressed IMG_0796.jpg2.jpg
or startled at 27 year old dog smell:p IMG_0797.jpg2.jpg
Any chance you could use the yellow eye reducing filter dad? Or 'This is my evil eyes for what you're doing'! Would have been an easier photo without flash:p.
    Cheers

Yes, Kirra always rode shotgun.....There was always a battle of wills when Sue came with us.....who wanted the passenger seat the most!

The trip was meant to be Mark. Seems like you may have witnessed the gratitude of your devotion to Kirra and then their eternal peace? How magic.

Gracie read it this evening Bert. She smiled and said she really liked that. I struggle to read it without crying.
A comforting thought for us all to think our beloveds are watching over us until we meet again. ;)

Tallulah celebrated her 15th (105th in dog years) birthday yesterday. So grateful to still have her loyal company. Although rather deaf nowadays, she had to wait for the kids to sing her Happy Birthday before enjoying a small piece of cake. :D

    Happy Birthday Tallulah! :)

So glad she’s still kicking on. Are you sure she’s deaf, or just doesn’t want to listen anymore? ;)

Haha! Are you referring to ‘selective hearing’ that we are all a little guilty of Grant?
Knowing Labs well yourself, I’m sure you’re familiar with the ‘I do as I please’ attitude from a senior lady. :D
