    I’m also in that crate.

However, working yesterday at a house that had a 4 month old Labrador to follow me around, and help me do things, I was very tempted to pack her up with all the tools into the Kombi, by “mistake”. ;)

I went for a walk the other day and came across a gorgeous kelpie. After the initial sniffing of my hand, she realised I was "ok" and then flung herself against my legs so that I could give her a pat. Then she went absolutely bonkers, flying down the road and back again, bouncing like an uncontrolled football. She came running at me full pelt and I thought I was going to get flattened, but she dived to one side at the last moment. So funny! I could have quite easily brought her home with me, accidentally, on purpose. :)

By running her to the beach on the lead, and low tide keeping her further from the foreshore scrub, Willow seems to have lost most of the hunting instict for now.
Still does the odd run in but praising her when she returns seems to have made them shorter.
Or whatever set her off has gone back.

Or focused it to chasing the ball rather than invisible rabbits

Now I think about it, I don't think I have ever seen her dream.
Mindy used to chase rabbits in her sleep, but not Willow.

There have been rumours of the pattering of small, puppy paws at our place in the near future.....
    Watch this space.......
