Here are a couple of pics from our trip so far.
Left Brisbane Friday morning just over a week ago.
We have travelled to Melbourne, visiting Newcastle, Sydney on the way. Boat across on Wednesday night and since then 2 nights at Launceston and 2 nights at Bay of Fires. Tonight we are in Freycinet. The drive from Launceston to St Helens gave the kombi a good workout.

We are meeting Peacefam on Friday arvo from off the boat, and will be travelling down from Devonport to south of Deloraine, then over to Mathinna north of fingal, for new years night. Tney want to head south after that to do the Taste of Tas etc, but will be travelling around from there. We plan to be camping on and off until the 19th so will keep an eye out for you.

You going to Fall's Joel or coming down for Taste or something?? Still got the splitty? Spotted a beautiful green bay on the highway this morning between Launnie to Hobart. Also spotted 2 blue kombi's pulled over parked at the servo on the side of the highway. Will keep an eye out for you all! My battery is currently charging so the bus might be back on the road soon! :)

We have met up with Peace_fam off the boat last night and we have stayed the night at Gowrie Park south of Sheffield. Weather is beautiful at the moment and we are going to plan the next stages this morning.
We came up through the highlands free camping at penstock lagoon and Liffey camp ground. Toilets are non existent at the lagoon and the Liffey ones have been destroyed by vandals, but if you don't mind they are beautiful surroundings to stay in. Gowrie park beside the rodeo ground has a flushing toilet and has a nice walk along the creek.

Have seen 2 kombis off the boat last night. On the way up a nice NSW lowlight in bothwell, a really nice camper in deloraine, a white lowlight at Coles beach Devonport.

And Mt Wellington: kept the Kombi engine and brakes honest.
I checked the tappets and plugs and gave the carbies a tweak. Tappets all very close to spot on and plugs looked great. After a tweak I had better balance on the carbs again.

Got back last night after our trip up through the Central Highlands to Devonport, back down to Gowrie Park and across to Lake Gairdner near Cradle. Back through Sheffield and down the highway to home. Saw 5 Kombis south of Campbell town, and 10 total on the trip.

Good free camping at Penstock Lagoon near Waddamana, Liffey Falls near Quamby Bluff(the camp ground to the southeast of the world heritage liffey falls picnic area and off Gulf Rd, not on google maps)Gowrie Park (O'Neills creek 100m down from the Caravan Park) and Lake Gairdner (1km on the right heading from Moina to Cradle Mountain, unmarked rd and travel 4 km). None have toilets except Gowrie Park.

Peace Fam went on to Cradle Mountain yesterday and had a magnificent day walking around the lake. They are heading to Queenstown and the rest of the west coast and we will meet them at Russell Falls near the end of the week.

    Trip around Tassie continues.
In Mt Field currently. Had a blast at Hobart with seeing the boys on Investec Loyal win the race and NYE at the Taste of Tasmania.
First photos are of Bruny Island.
Next 4 are of Mt Field NP where we are now. I really like this place (Mt Field especially)
Tomorrow we are off to Cradle Mountain for a 4 night stop before we head for home.

Cutest little black Bunny I have ever seen. Right next to our camper
