Peace fam in a T3 has been at Mt Field today as well. Don't know if you saw them. We are waiting for them to arrive here at our home in Hobart for the next few days. Love your pics.

Saw a T3 with the kombi club sticker on it in the carpark. We headed up to Lake Dobson today.
    Beautiful day!
Dreaming of a 5 speed though and Berg 5 speed only fits pre 67 they say. I'll be researching that.

    Hey Marcus

Looks like you and the troops are having a ball. Good to hear Tassie weather is behaving itself for you. Looks a little chilly actually.

That's a long time to spend in that Dormy. You must be hanging for a real bed.

Bed is excellent in ours. Full width and very nice after some improvements.
It is cold in parts but the Kombi is nice and warm

It certainly has been memorable and the 1600cc of Wolfsburg wizardry has been faultless.
In Bathurst tonight and will take it easy using the next 2 days to get home.

We have just arrived home from Bay Of Fires after 5 days of travelling to the Tasman Penisular and up the East Coast in company with Peace_Fam, her daughters and thethe aircooled T3 RoadRunner. She is continuing across the top of Tassie and out to Dismal Swamp before getting on the boat next week to go home. Milly once again has performed perfectly and a great time was had by the whole family. Saw a WA registered kombi in Campbell Town the same colour. Didn't recognise it or see any Kombi club stickers or owners about. Hope they have as good a time.

:D Saw you at Mt Field on one of the Days - the T3 was ours. We had THE MOST amazing time in Tassie, covered nearly 2500 km traveling west coast then south up the East then across the top before heading home - 3 1/2 weeks of absolute bliss. Anyone wanting to 'do' Tassie - JUST DO IT! We covered nature stuff, galleries, adventure tourism stuff, history, food, drink, food - Excellent company!!!

Tasmania offer so much to traveler. Just make sure you have good brakes and enjoy driving winding roads - there are plenty of them! Great Free camp -(Camps Australia and Camping Tasmania were invaluable but if you ask locals in remote ares you'll be given real gems too).

Just give Tassie at least 3 weeks in you want to do it any justice - better if you have more. We could easily have doubled our time there.

Thanks Mordred and family. Tassie ROCKS!!!!!
