Obviously started in the engine bay - good example to other owners, to check and replace those fuel lines, and pay attention to any unusual fuel smell before you start the engine, if you don’t want your bus destroyed in 60 seconds.
Having had one fuel leak in the '71 all the lines have been replaced as well as a more secure location for the filter. The '91 has leaked fuel a couple of times (top of tank and wheel arch bottle). You know - the previous owner reckons he never noticed it in the T3 (i.e. my Dad). However everything has since been rectified.
blaze cut would have had it extinguished in seconds, saved my ute.

My goodness ! How Catho has changed.....used to be an old coal village with great waves and cool ,, old weatherboard cottages.I remember sleeping under the scout hall as a grommet. My folks would drop my mates and I up there on a Friday afternoon and pick us up late Sunday.....back home and school on Monday.
The northern part still is. There is a development to the south.
Guess the good part is that they have kept the two places separate
