Today in Malta - seen this one on prior visits - by the way they reverse Park here the owner looks like having his bumpers repaired - and I don’t think it would be his doing by the way the rest of the bus looks :

    Hey Bagman,
That's a very nice bus:D. What's the bits that look like magnets? One square, one round. Any ideas folks?
    Cheers

Squarish black bit is probably power inlet (inlet on mine looks like this). I assume the round one beside it is water, and the round one higher up is ventilation?

So I will throw it out for general discussion - really what model is it ? - looks like crossover but perhaps with later model tail lights

A good question - air inlets for engine bay are from lowlight era pre '71/72 when they changed to a flatter design ....... engine bay lid and the 4 bolts holding valance on would also say that
As for front apron don't think lowlight replacment ones were available for sometime so many had to go with late model high lights ..... rear curvature of the panels & wheel arches also leads to it being pre '71 and the tail lights expect grafted in ???
But as for exact year it could even be around 1969

Don't want to be a pedant but what the heck. From the posted picture, photographing the dash would have involved some amateur B & E or some very close up and personal attachment to the bus. Don't know how the Repubblika ta' Malta authorities would respond (I just needed to photograph the dash for the KC forum but the curtains were in the way. Honestly!)
