So about 5 years after first getting Kombi I finally bit the bullet and got all the rust spots cut out. And I figured if I'm going to do it, do it right. So that included a full colour change. From Butter Nut Pumpkin to Lamborghini Orange in 4 very long weeks (to go without a Kombi). All the rust repair and paint work was done by Steve at Sandgate Bodyworks, and I'm very happy with the results.

    First the primer patches.

Then a visit to the shop 2 weeks in.

As I've already said Jae, Kombi's scrubbed up a real treat. He's looking pretty flash! Still have to see him in the flesh yet (as the last time I saw him, he was stripped down to his undies!).

Oooh, and you've reminded me - we should get together and do another of those night time photo shoots. T'was heaps of fun last time.

That looks spectacular. If we hadn't gone with the mural, this would have been the colour I'd have chosen too (and that 'star' shot is spectacular - great photography):D
