    Hey Groovers,
Just putting some thought out there about this.
Here's 2 routes. Any one want to join a Wednesday departure probably midday ex Sydney? (just edited departure date)

I'm a bit biased for coastal but ???
    Overnight spot to be decided.
    Cheers

    Komvoy sounds great!
No thoughts on a place to stop just yet. The mrs is fast asleep :D:D so I’ll pick her brain in the morning. We’re pretty easy though.

But Chris, Adelaide to Mallacoota is a shorter run than Briz to Mallacoota and 600km short of your recent award winning journey.

Surely there must be some other crow eaters making the journey next year?

Generally it is the coast road or inland and you come down Brrown Mountain or Bombala.
Brings you out at Tarthra or Bega or Eden

From Cooma on inland is great.
    First bit is boring.

    Coast is great as well.
Through Nowra is a horror stretch.

Planning early you lot? Bags packed yet?
Came down the coast on our home run from Stanthorpe. Recommend, nice run.

One might think so, one might .BUUUUUT
There was JD but circumstances have changed there.
There was another chap from up north of Adelaide but his Van had a big major on the way up to Stanthorpe and arrived on the back of a towie which is a shame and i feel sorry for him. There is a chap who lives in the hills east of Adelaide but never met him to the best of my knowledge and i dont think i have spoken to him on here either
If there is anyone else that goes to these B/Stops that i havnt met then im sorry but i dont know them,
The other problem is they have to work right up to Good Friday then go like hell to get there, where as i leave 2 or 3 days before then plod along at my leisure .
All to hard my friends. all to hard . Never mind ,you never know, things could change for the better one day.:(

Gotta feeling we’re going to head inland and pop out ‘round Eden......nothing locked in yet.
At the risk of sounding like a scratched record, the coast during school holidays will be very busy and very populated.
I reckon skirting everything until the far South coast will be a less stressful, easy run.....just my 2 bob’s worth.;)
Will keep you posted as we firm up plans......
    Cheers,
    Mark

Yep we’ll be joining in. Coast road would be my preference. Lots of memories on that run.

Yeah..we could all be retired & just leisurely travelling to the 'next spot' in our kombis;). Lucky B! Must say in the Stanthorpe komvoy you weren't 'leisurely travelling' Chris:rolleyes:. Blew us off & left us behind!!
    Cheers

@David H wouldn't you leave on Wednesday if you planed on arriving on Thursday.
No there isn't as many as they have a dry climate and they are all sold and sent to the east coast.:D guilty of that.:D

Thanks for the responses. Mainly started early due to Marks thoughts as it's school hols & yes that would make the coast a bit busier & the need to book early. Mark has a valid point but we'll just go with the flow:cool:. If we were to go as Mark suggests we could all end up at Grantus' place;) (he has a standing offer for any KC member to stay:oops:....don't know if that included en masse :p) with then the run into Eden.
Give us some clues as to the overnight MrBeckstar?
    Cheers
