    Hi Kombi Cruisers,

Time to get back on the road & have a cruise:).

Edgeworth McDonalds Newcastle @10am for a 10.30am departure to ...........a meander around the lower hunter with a park up (photo op!) along the way.

We'll be travelling thru areas around Quarrobolong Valley thru Cessnock & via a vineyard wine tasting ($5) for a park up to end up in Branxton having lunch here on the wide verandas of a country pub:cool: if you wish to stay. IMG_1322 (1).jpg
It's a short run back (30 mins) to south via the Branxton expressway;).

ALL WELCOME;). Hope you can make it:D.

Let us know if you're in for lunch so we can let the pub know!
    Cheers

    Hey David,
We should be there. We have visitors that weekend, so they might have to be passengers and enjoy the Kombi experience with us. :)

    Off topic I know but.....
"Kombi", later translated to "Combi", was short for the German Kombinationskraftwagen or “combined-use vehicle”.
    Be a T1/2/3 or 4 ITS A KOMBI!!!!:)

    So the T5 & T6 is not a Kombi? o_O

Some say a real Kombi is rear wheel drive, with an engine in the rear....... but that could just be narrow minded thinking.

Some also claim that a real Kombi is only aircooled...... again, probably a bit narrow minded.

If it’s not a Type 1 Beetle, and is a Type 2 Transporter shape.......be it a cargo van, passenger van, camper van, single cab or dual cab variant, it’s also a Kombi, no matter when it was built. ;)

    Unfortunately not. :(

Going to be in Bathurst that weekend, attending a charity dinner event to support a very good friend with cancer.......... but maybe get a Kombi lap of Mount Panorama, while I’m there, just to ensure my workhorse has done a famous lap! ;)
