There was lots of “ventilation” in the floor pan.

Got the DPD overhead aircon out to disassemble and clean.
Going to take the evaporator out for now and just run as extra fans, tested and both are working. Longer term plan is to get a new compressor and get the aircon going again
Would love to see photos/video of the unit working and the compressor mounting if anyone has one going

And she’s back! And running beautifully. 250km back from Ocean Grove including freeway and drove beautifully. Steering is now really tight, more than enough power.
so exciting to get her back on the road!!
Heaps of motivation to continue with the rest of the interior now

Will post some more pics soon, have been in hiatus
Looking at some Koni shocks for the front as mine are old and cactus
I've been offered 80-1350 or 80-2110 for the front, not sure which ones are the best for a stock height bus.
    80-1350 eye/eye open = 390mm / closed = 255mm
    80-2110 eye/eye open = 416mm / closed = 270mm
    Thanks

My attempt at 70s style trim panels-trying to match the original Sopru camper ones. Pretty happy with how they look

Been trying my hand at cabinet making-waaay harder than I imagined!! A mm here and there does make a difference. All surfaces and edges not completely lining up perfectly but for $100 worth of timber not too bad
