Now for the rear seat. The rear seat is tidy and I have scrubbed and scrubbed trying to get it clean but this is the best I can do, so when I was at Spotlight, they were selling the blanket material for $10 per metre - so with 1.5m and then 6m of blanket binding, I ended up with a retro looking seat cover that doubles as a picnic rug!

I am on the lookout for a middle seat now.

I would never laugh Paul - and my 62 has the super powerful 1200 (sarcasm) - that could have a problem with rings ;)

I would suggest a compression test will probably tell you what you already know - time to upgrade!

Great looking interior - almost identical fitout to my brothers when he bought it - he since sourced a bay middle seat to fill that void.

Good luck with your search - ebay has them occassionally and some are even in NSW!

    Cheers,
