So Olive (77 Bay) is up and running after 18 months parked. The Auto is fine in reverse but will only drive forwards very slowly in 1,2,drive. Fluid level is ok and pump must be working for reverse to work. Any suggestions please before I take the box out ?

Took of the Pan & Pickup. Small amount of black gunk in the bottom and lots of tiny metal bits floating around. Looks like it engine and tranny out.

Oh well. She'll be worth it.

    Thanks for the help

black gunk is friction material from the bands... a very small ammount with the 20,000k service is normal... tiny metal bits could be anything... probably from the gearset itself.
