I just got back from a week in NSW near Moulamien. The weather was warm and I was staying on about 500 hectares of bush. (private property) The Edward River was flowing nicely and the red river gums gave plenty of shade and firewood. Here is a view of my campsite... Yes! The Cammokombi is in there somewhere! Ha!

    Cammo,

    At it again.

    Where in NSW is Moulamien?

Near the coast, central or far west?

With gum trees shady also means dangerous in dry hot winds.

They dont call gum trees "widow makers" for nothing.

    Cheers,

    Scott

    where????

Where I was I guess you could say somewhere central west in nsw. That photo doent really show the campsite very well. The first thing I do when checking out a possible campsite is look up. If the trees are too big I move on. I was very lucky to find a spot where a very old large tree had come down some time ago and young sapplings had grown up around it. I was in there, nice and safe. ( I hoped!) HA ha.
I was surounded by the beautiful eucalypt smells, the sound of wind in the trees and the tranquility of birdsong. It was a beautiful place to meditate.
    cammo.
