This could be a distinct possibility. Looks like a nice spot to go and might be a great place for the inaugural DC Committee meeting meet & line up. Something perhaps to aim for! Wayne and I gotta be on the road by then.

That would be a great idea to get all DC committee together for a DC bus stop with in bus stop. Like Euan has mentioned we gotta get them on the road which gives us a deadline but time is always a question mark for the finish line. I'll still going regardless of what car I'm taken.

The bows and hoops for the canopy got coated black satin. Also the rear engine bar for a 1600 and the fan housing .

For the body of the DC it was getting blocked down to make sure the body is straight. It isn't that far from getting painted know If I could just smell that paint .:D

The buffer holes for the gates where also drilled to make sure they where lining up with the body hole buffer and that they where symmetrical to the body line and distance from each other to the end of the gates. No photos of thato_O

Last few weeks the painter has been off and on block sanding the body straight. Ran into a small problem with the gates,as were the bottom lip on the gates were spot welded they put small heat distortion on the face of the gates, which needed some attention to rectify. This week major step forward was getting the inside cabin painted. One step closer to being painted outside.

It has to do with the connection of time spent waiting to see some colour and knowing it's getting closer to been finished at the painters.
The type of bling your looking for:( isn't the type of bling :eek:your going to get with me ;)or this car :) unfortunately, sorry to disappoint you .:(

Quote by @Syncro27 "Wayne seemed to find all the things he was missing - great scavenging effort."
At the Nationals yesterday I was over the moon when I found my missing part that I've been searching for 3 years.Search high and low a lot of forums etc. I bloke I know from Penrith drove into the swap meet with two DC Utes which where pretty rusty. I had a look at the cars, spotting the part I needed (which is photo below) asked "if he was parting"
    reply "what did you want"
I showed him the part I wanted
reply " If you can get it off you can have it." As you can see by the photo that wasn't going to be any problem when big eyed me spotting something I wanted:D:D
then I spotted other parts I needed:D as you may now know I'm thrilled by it all.
