    Hey all,

I’ve been trying to find a good T3 DOKA for a long time now and today I finally got one :)

Luckyphil (Phil) use to own one of the nicest examples that I’ve seen. Phil passed it on to somebody who he knew and shortly after they put it up for sale at the shop/dealership where they worked. It was then sold to another shop/dealership which is where I purchased it from.

I’ve attempted to buy this particular DOKA a few times now but I could never get it for a price that I’d be happy paying (I should have purchased it from Phil when he sold it).

Anyway, I’ve just got it home which I’m really stocked about :)

There’s quite a few things that need attention as it’s been sitting for some time but I’ll get them sorted over the next few months. Very excited!!!

Did you get the full set of new slats that Grant machined up for me. They were handed on to the guy I sold it to.
This DOKA has found a very good home :)

    Hey Phil,

Thanks. Unfortunately no new slats :(

I think the original seller (guy you sold it to) kept what he could when he passed it on.

I’m very glad that you’ve owned it in the past. It’s now got heaps of little upgrades :)

Probably not..........but if I can trade/sell my T2 then there’s a possibility. My daughter has become very attached to the T2 camper so it is a tough decision.
Since the restrictions were put in place I’ve been bringing the T2 around the backyard when the weather is good. My kids have been pretty much living in it.

    Hey Col,
Cheers. I was going through the paperwork earlier that it came with and I actually think that I have a photo of when you guys caught up at the restaurant.
I’ll post a pic of it tomorrow.

That’s been take away coffee ONLY with the current COVID lockdown...:( (One of the few things I really miss at the moment)...... but hopefully will change soon.

Are you presenting this DC at Old Bar? Would be great to get another photo shoot with my bus, together again, as you are going to be a neighbour?

Real shame about you not getting the custom slats included. :(

Wonder what happened to them? C’mon Phil......make some enquires. If they are sitting stacked in the corner of a shed, they need to come to light. ;)

    Hey Grant,

Yep I think that we’ll be bringing it to Old Bar. Definitely keen for a photo shoot and seeing as though we are staying at the same place they’ll probably be parked together anyway :)

I’d love to find out what happened to the slats that you made. They’d be a great addition to it as the slats that are currently in it are a bit tired.

    Cheers

    Thanks Barry.

Yep....It still has the 911 interior. Phil did a great job with it.

    Cheers
