Well I had stopped sailing and not doing much else and my ligaments in my knee had shrunk resulting in my knee cap being pulled side wards causing pain. Try sitting through a Circ De Sole performance just wanting to stand and stretch. Just needed to do some stretches and all good.

Have heard of such a thing. ( Excersise)
    Manage to avoid it myself.
But has been known to help.
( Bit theoretical for me )

Glad it worked . Can't remember what it was.
Might have been someone's stash left over from 2 Kombi camping weekends ?

Too long between drinks........ Planning a road trip for September, hopefully as far north as Tewantin, before heading back via Old Bar on the October long weekend, where I’ll park up with the thread DC, for another photo shoot. :)

The restaurants should be back trading by then, so we’ll have to get together, for a long overdue catchup ;)

    Absolutely.
My backyard pretty much so can do.
Alanna hopes to have a pop up running by then in bris.
Still have access to excellent fresh patisserie treats.

    Hi Phil,
Happy Birthday for Monday mate. Hope that you enjoyed last night and have woken up feeling fresh :)
If I would have known that you had a plan to buy the DOKA then I probably wouldn’t have bought it (even though I’m totally stocked to have it). It would have made for a much cooler story going back to you. I’m sorry :( At least you’ll still get to see it from time to time and I promise that I’ll look after it.
Have a great day tomorrow :)

When I picked up my DOKA from the dealership I was told that this samba sold for close to $300k. Looked nice but wow!!! 44EE942F-B1F7-4468-B947-77788379842B.jpeg

    Always believe dealerships.
Wasn't your DOKA advertised for $49k or thereabouts at one dealer ?
    :)
What's the history on the samba.
Is it one done by Das Resto way back ?

    You’re probably right Col.
Not sure on the history of the samba. I was just checking it out and one of the guys there told me that it had just sold for nearly $300k. I did find it a bit suss though as it was advertised for $260k.

Did you mention to the dealer, that you actually know one of the previous owners, of the DOKA you were buying?

Sure did. I also told them that the seats that were in the DOKA came out of my Caravelle. I’m glad to have my seats back as I’ve always regretted selling them.

Wow... totally missed all this action.

    Congrats Brendan.

I know Lucky Phil is jealous so be careful with the keys at Old bar - they and the Doka may disappear...

Its an awesome Doka so I am sure you will enjoy it.

From memory it came with the partition between the front and back seats which Lucky Phil had removed by Andy?.

Then the caravelle interior started to go into it - now its almost a Tristar.
