    Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 1990 Caravelle GL and thought that it was time that I put some pics up. Overall, I'm really happy with it and I'm loving being back behind the wheel of a T3.

I plan do do a fair bit of work on it however I am going to try to keep it as close to original as I can.

A huge thanks to Luckyphil for finding the bus for me and for all the help/advice he has given me to date.

Anyway, here are a few pics to get the thread started :)

    Cheers

I note you the Terrapodz fitted already :) Real nice van. Smoked front blinkers are the go.

Yep, I love the look that terrapodz give and I agree that smoked blinkers would look pretty good too.

I have a pretty large to do list on the van which I have already began to tick off.

I feel that it's such a good example that it would be a shame to change it to much so I'm going to keep the modifications to a minimum and have nothing done that can't be easily reversed.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

Since owning it it's had the following done:

    -Washed, polished and waxed

-Full service including a transmission service

    -Terrapodz installed

-Minor crack in chassis welded and repaired properly

-Minor surface rust from earlier repair due to it not being treated has been attended to

    -New front cab window rubbers

-Rusty steel bolts securing front bumber bar have been replaced with stainless bolts

    -Tow ball fitted

-Seating changed to the correct number (for some reason it was down as 5)

    -Headlights have been upgraded

    -Dress rings fitted to wheels

There's probably been a few more things done however my memory isn't great :)

And the to do list is as follows:

    -Fit Terrawagen flares

-Fit my newly purchased Recaro's in the front

    -Install front cabin rain/wind deflectors

    -Have some minor bodywork done

    -Lower it a little

    -Install a decent stereo

-Purchase and fit smoked headlights, taillights, blinkers etc.

    -Upgrade all remaining lights

-Fit new chrome mouldings to window rubbers

    -Get the windows slightly tinted

Again, there's probably a few things I've forgotten however I'll add to this thread along the way :)
