Looks like lots of dunny paper for wedding car decorations back then.

Toilet paper and aerosol shave cream  ...... easy to clean up than what they did to our car on our wedding day  ...... scrunched up yellow page phone books - doesn't take many to fill a car o_O and to get the out and dispose of them is a complete mongrel

Kombi was not only used as a wedding car but also for the cheap honeymoon camping at Booti Booti before NatParks took it over. The paper & shaving cream was easy to clean but the prawns put behind the battery by wifes cousins started to smell after a few days!! Took another couple of days to find them & when I did the paper fell apart & the smelly prawns went thru the engine bay.
Rotting seafood on your kombi honeymoon:mad:;) in 83.
The cousins in law were blind so couldn't really appreciate the visual stuff done so approached humour in their own way:rolleyes:. I did think it quite inventive & it did give me ideas for other wedding pranks involving smell:D that I've done;).
Dynamic lifter in a stocking under your bedroom floor, rotten egg gas in an expanded water bed etc, etc.
Reasonably good at getting access to your place if you've got a tile roof;).
    Cheers
