We all know a 2wd T3 never wins, if there’s a syncro entered in the same category. But thanks for all the peer votes...... 2nd is still good.
Just a collection of kombis that where at the nationals. It was a great day, with some early rain but turned out to be a warm day . Numbers where down on previous years, that doesn't change the chatter much as you get around the show . Swap meet turned up a few goodies for my self once again. Also Grantus has kindle loan my the T3 Ute wooden slat to copy for my T2 Ute ,thanks again Grantus.
Sure are some beauties there! I wondered at first glance why ‘MIZLIZ’ had cotton wool balls stuck on the front, haha.
Cheers Chrissy. I really must give thanks to our admin Melissa. It looked like I was the only one that drove through 3 hours of constant rain and drizzle, to get to the event. When I finally parked up, it looked nothing like the clean vehicle I started out in, so I set about doing a quick chamois dryoff, (the last thing I felt like doing after a 5am start!). Whilst doing one side and it was drying, Mel rocks up to say “Hi”, followed by, “You’ve made it worse!” I looked back, and the road grime was just swirled around and now dry on the paint.......... (As always ,she was right!) So then I had to do another more detailed lap, with a spray cleaner and clean cloths.
Worth the effort for a 2nd. Melissa will always guide you well. My...so many flashy buses. Thanks for the laid on Kombi porn all posters. Cheers
I'm still wondering why 'MIZLIZ' has cotton wool along the front... ok, I know it's not cotton wool, but what is it??
I did have a close look, and discussed it with another KC member, and I believe it’s a string of snowball Xmas tree lights.......
True.....but probably 12v, and would have made more sense, and looked better, if simply plugged into the battery. Or not...........
