Too many good photos out there not to share so I thought I'd kick this off;).
Sunday 11.8.19 Cardiff. You can just see the second rainbow forming above with mirror effect. 2.jpg
Another from the past. Love the rare double rainbow. Please notice how the upper rainbow colours are reversed. Can get 2 rainbows over each other occasionally. Purples looking at each other. Mirror magic:D. Perry send.jpg2.jpg
Must be the hallelujah church;). Close......... it was our local Masonic Lodge until recently.
    One from Ninga. Thanks Chrissy:).

Could be a consistent contributor to this thread, David. :D
We’re often out and about appreciating, investigating and learning about our beautiful and marvellous world.
Here’s another cobweb from a couple of years ago after a big frost! 90C64CAB-5812-47E6-B555-BE7F515B028B.jpeg
Double rainbows have been a beautiful sight here just recently with the misty winter rain. I hadn’t noticed the mirror image that you mentioned David but that’s intriguing.
One from just last week... B40FB1CE-A280-4BA8-95E6-887EE0D305B6.jpeg
And another from a few weeks ago that Gracie spotted and insisted I come outside to see, “something amazing!” 890DFB1A-3B9E-4B26-9331-C6CE36387DF8.jpeg

Mr Google answer:p. Wouldn't pretend to be this smart;).

"This bending of the light as it enters and leaves the drop disperses the light of the sun into its spectrum of colors that form the rainbow. Sometimes the light reflects twice off the back of the raindrop; this leads to the secondary rainbow. The second reflection causes the order of the colors in the bow to reverse."

Ah...2 mirrors in one drop:cool:. Nature is truly amazing:D.

Great images KC'ers:). Keep them coming.
    Cheers

A summertime pic. We get hundreds of these spiky little spiders on the fence line in the warmer weather. This fella is doing his bit, eliminating flies. 9BEC4387-3FBF-4E7A-A8E7-5C7AF277E25C.jpeg
