Welcome to the new home of The KombiClub.
Pr0phet has worked his socks off to upgrade The Kombi Club, to enable us to be here for another 10 years.
After an unsuccessful upgrade with Vbulletin, it was decided to try another host. Hopefully all the information and posts has successfully been imported, we will have lost the new posts over the last couple of days.
    Sorry for any inconvenience
Hopefully you will enjoy the format and new features and have fun exploring
There will be a few gremlins while we settle in, hopefully not too many
Please let us know what you think
    Roy

New forum now open for business.

Any problems should be reported here and will be investigated as soon as we can. Your old logins should work - any issues of that type (permissions etc) please let us know rather than creating a new account. We've imported a few Gigabytes of data converting to a new format so it is all new to us to - please bear with us.

If you can't access your account or are experiencing another problem related to permissions etc please use the form here to contact us:

    http://ss.1eh.co.uk/kc-contact/

Thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy the new software!

Maybe just me, but the "today's post's" button I used to use on the old format, allowed me to do a quick daily check on what was happening in the past 24 hours.

Is it now gone in the new format, or am I more "puter illiterate" than I thought?

If so, is there an easy way to see just active threads from the last day or so? o_O

'New post' button under the forum banner above Grant. Works fine for me.

    Very nice upgrade.

Love it, very fast and a much more modern design. Should keep the forum alive long into the future.

Looks great to me. Loads quite fast over the wireless broadband link that I have to use here in Bungendore.

Seems good so far only comment I have is that the Avatars are no longer clear - I have also posted in the Moderators Only section that it seems as though Archives has gone :rolleyes::cool:

To PM click on the users name and 'start a conversation'. Can't seem to be able to do it with mods

looks good - very "new" but the old system had a "tag" as to which threads I had posted in.
    This feature has gone?

I think you can find threads you are in through both 'Alerts' (top right) and 'watched threads' on light blue menu at the top. Hth.

I'm an old fart and don't like change! Working my way thru the new program. My old habit was to view subscribe threads then troll thru new posts. Have not got that under control yet. Locked up before but back in business.

    Ditto. Aren't we all :p

I find the sticky and locked threads harder to identify - but, I guess once you know where the icons are (right rather than left) your eyes will gradually gravitate towards them. I know the last few weeks with the VBulletin issues and then the switch to Xenforo are a bit unsettling, but, we're getting there.

Haha, that's because I am an English man living in Wales. You start talking gibberish after a time.
