Thanks guys, I agreed a deal for a Kombi today! YAY! She'll be home soon & then in need of a fit out in the back with a rock n roll bed etc, anyone recommend companies in the Brisbane region that do the fitouts & upholstery? Cheers.

G'day, She's a 1974 Kombi T2. Clean & tidy with no rust but she has a bare rear interior. I don't want a kitchen & cupboards in the back but need to get a rock n roll bed frame & cushions/ mattress & upholstery done, maybe the dash re-done too & she defo needs a stereo & speakers. Will post some pics soon if I can work out how to put them on here, I'm a technology idiot!
Look forward to meeting a few of you on the road up & down the coast soon.

I've messaged Performance Upholstery over the Christmas period via the contact section on his web site, just waiting for him to get in touch & I can organise getting Heidi over to him to get a full costing for the work I'd like done. Some good looking stuff on his website.

Very nice - hopefully you can find some headrests for your front seats.

Maybe the seats were changed, who knows, I know they'll be changed again soon though.

At that date STUPOT I believe it should have headrests so I guess they've been changed. Still looks good tho'.
It's a whole discussion here about original seats or others but if you keep the bases (track work) the same it's less hassle;).
    Cheers

If you feel along the top of your seats you might find there are holes that have tubes ready to take headrests.

Headrests came out in 73 ,As mentioned by Melissa feel along the top of the seat, as it sometimes previous owners when they get seats retrimmed they deleted the headrests and cover up the holes, you may be lucky and still be there.
Nice looking bus by the way.
