[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Hi all, we have inherited a 63 split screen ute that we are now looking at selling as don't have the space for it. It needs brakes bled, new tyres, a new battery and a good clean. It's been in a storage container for 8 yrs so the photos are as good as I can get atm. We are new to the world of Kombi's but are aware that splitty's are sought after so not sure what we should be looking at asking for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.[IMG]

I’m selling my 63 split screen single cab ute and my 1970 vw squareback. The ute has rust in usual places like the jack points, treasure chest floor, basically the lower 100mm of the guards and the outside mullion that the out riggers but into... cab is fairly solid apart from passenger side roof... I have bought new tray bed and I bought a 2nd hand set complete gates so I have a couple spare... 4 brand new still in the box rims... the motor in Kombi is ceased. I bought the squareback because it has a strong 1600cc dualport engine in it that I was going to put in Kombi... the car it self is in pretty good shape only rust I can see is on the bottom of passenger side door and the floor pan where the battery sits... car can be driven... inbox, text or phone 0427816905 for any questions... I have a shitload of photos for anyone interested... and if your not interested don’t bother commenting
    Ute $15500 ono
    Wagon $2500 ono
I will only sell wagon separately if I sell the ute first

Always about what someone will pay but with no image somewhere between $25k & $30k. Take another $40k to bring it to concourse;) & the wild numbers that we see around splitties:oops:.

Hi Maria. You can ask whatever price you want - I know most of us hate ebay but that will get it to the biggest audience and if 2 people really want it then they can fight it out. Just start it at the lowest amount you would consider taking for it.

    It is definitely worth something.

Anyone know if it’s a PMG bus?
Looks it to me. Red & black colours.

Whilst asking questions of “knowledgeable others” you should scan car sales, Gumtree and others and try and make up your own mind.

Is it something you just want to pass on for a fair price or does an extra $5k make a huge difference to your life.
Do you need money now or can it wait a year.

Whatever it will be worth a LOT more as a healthy driver with a blue slip or whatever is in SA.

Spending a few grand now could be a wise investment

It’s not PMG, you can also see the yellow former colour coming through in the tray.

Looks very dry and rust free.

I would love to keep it but we definately don't have the $ or time/space to do work to it and yes need it gone asap unfortunately. As far as we are aware it was originally yellow but was painted red over 20 yrs ago. We have looked on other sale sites and most listed are fully restored on rusty etc....

Thank you for your input, we have a lot of thinking to do.
