Spent the weekend in Newcastle and was very impressed with the number of Kombis around the town. Saw 15 in fact before lunch time Sunday.

They were in various states of condition and mobility but overall a very fine representation of the Kombi form.

The highlight was spotting a distinctive Kombi being driven in a spirited manner southbound through Swansea on Sunday morning. So spirited in fact I couldn't catch it in the Toyota! And it did have a Kombi Club sticker - you know who you are! ;)

    Cheers,....John

Ummm...who was it? It could have been one of us getting ready for our cruise down to Wisemans Ferry. What did it look like?

I think it was Jacqui in Tequila Sunrise - she had to rush ahead of us and then we met up with her at the Catherine Hill Bay turnoff. If you had been 5 minutes behind you would have seen 5 of us travelling together

2 nice looking bay window buses
headed along elizabeth bay drive at lake munmorah on sunday mid morning,
then went back in the afternoon
the number plates were bus-077 and bay- 076 ( i think thats right
or maybe swap the numbers with the letters)

Yes, it was Tequila Sunrise. Looked very impressive in the flesh as it flashed past coming off the Swansee bridge.

Very disappointed to miss the convoy, that would have made my day. Hopefully next time up there I'll have Professor Plum to join in the fun.

The Wisemans Ferry pics look terrific.

    Cheers,...John
