Like the old days of slot car racing where the meshing of crownwheel and pinion was combined with the wine of electric engine.
Similar sound from Aaron's 20b kombi.
24 hr endurance race may test a battery pack or hydrogen fuel cells.

Watched the Richard Hammond Electric car crash vids on Youtube yesterday. 1200hp! No engine sound to work by.
Wonder how I can put batteries in one of my cars?
Beetle has no engine or gearbox - Electric Beetle convertible?! :rolleyes:o_O;)

I have no engine or gearbox in the kombi yet !
Or the beetle for that matter - the trouble is its about $20K to fit a car out in electric bits so it becomes some what hard to justify

Go straight to a suby motor and subygears gearbox ;)
Cheaper than paying for a recon vw engine.
